The Big Doom Swap
Compass Communications executed a National Mall Court Activation for Doom at the close of 2008 and the beginning of 2009. The purpose of the activity was two-fold: To implement a swap drive - Recalling the old DOOM mosquito plug in units, which had been prone to overheating, and give consumers a new and improved one; and build awareness around the Doom Twice as Fast Competition where 2 Audi TT's can be won. The activation was supported with print and radio announcements and was met with great receptiveness from the public with over 1 000 old DOOM units swapped.
