Compass Communications is awarded custodianship of the Oros Man (October 2008)

Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh-OROS!  OROS is South Africa’s leading squash brand and consumers have always seen OROS as a well-known and trusted brand that is widely accepted.  Consumers grew up with Oros, it offers them a feeling of nostalgia and elicits happy memories. The Compass communications team is excited about being recently awarded the character management of “Orrie”,  the Oros Man. He is in great demand over summer with request appearances coming in from all over the country. Orrie is used tactically to build the brand and make appearances at key OROS outlets.  Orrie is warm, friendly and loves to be loved!  His appearances create such a stir and excitement that they leave everyone with a happy warm feeling, a wide smile and proud to be apart of something that is 100%,  truly South African.

Instantly recognizable in signature orange, you can’t help but want to hug him!
